What is Home Health Care?
Home health care provides services to people recovering from an illness, surgery, or rehabilitation who may need ongoing assistance and monitoring in the comfort of their own home. Under Medicare rules, a person qualifies for in-home care if he or she is homebound and needs skilled medical care.
Why Home Health Care?
Home health care is a cost-effective option for receiving health care services. Returning to one’s home and family can quicken recovery and improve the quality of life for both patient and family or caregiver.
Who Pays for Home Health Care?
Most health insurance companies, HMOs, PPOs and Workers Compensation cover home health care. In addition, Medicare and Medicaid pay for home care services. Some insurance providers do not cover all home health services. Our staff will verify health coverage for the patient.

Providing continuous quality care to patients is paramount to all we do. New programs and processes are developed through our quality improvement team to promote favorable outcomes.
Do I have to be hospitalized to have home health?
An individual is not required to have been hospitalized or discharged from a skilled nursing facility before they can receive home health care. Most patients are referred directly from their doctors office.
Can I just receive rehabilitative services at home?
